Finally gave up on universal control boards for dryers

I used to swear by those universal boards for dryer repairs. Figured they were a cheap fix that kept the customer happy. Then I had two of them fail within 3 months at a rental property in Fresno. The landlord called me back both times and I ended up eating the labor cost. After that I started stocking OEM boards instead and the difference is night and day. Has anyone else had similar luck with OEM parts over universal ones?

OEM boards are ALWAYS worth the extra cost.
