Am I the only one who keeps the old part as a trophy instead of tossing it?
Fixed a Whirlpool washer in Akron last Tuesday and now the dead drain pump is sitting on my bench like a souvenir, so do you guys keep your pulled parts or dump them straight in the truck?
Kept a burned out control board from a Maytag for like six months because I swore I would test it someday. Finally my wife made me clear the shelf and it went in the bin within a minute. Now I just snap a picture of the dead part and toss it, same memory, way less clutter.
