Remember when we all thought worm bins would stink up the whole place?

I was sure my Urban Worm Bag would turn my studio into a biohazard zone. After three months of adding coffee grounds and veggie scraps, I opened it up expecting the worst. The soil smelled like fresh earth, and the worms were just doing their thing. Has anyone else had that moment where their fear of smell was totally wrong?

My fear was so bad I almost named the bin "Roommate." It just smells like dirt, which is way better than my actual kitchen trash. I guess the worms are better at their job than I am at mine.

Honestly that dirt smell is the best part, it means the whole system is working right. My kitchen trash gets gross so fast but the worm bin just stays earthy and clean. Tbh it's kind of humbling when a box of worms is more reliable than you are. I keep waiting for mine to fail but they just keep eating everything. Makes you respect how simple and good nature's process really is.
