My bokashi bin just hit 100 lbs of compost in 8 months
I started doing bokashi composting in my tiny studio apartment back in January and I finally weighed my finished compost today - 100 pounds exactly from just my own kitchen scraps. That's way more than I expected since I live alone and thought I barely produced any food waste. Anyone else track how much they've diverted from the landfill?

I mean, I guess that's cool but 100 pounds over 8 months works out to like 12.5 pounds a month, which is barely over 3 pounds a week. That's not really that wild for one person if you're eating normal meals and not just living on takeout. My friend's family of four fills one of those 5 gallon buckets in like 2 weeks with just veggie scraps and coffee grounds. Kinda feels like you're making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be.
