My $40 worm bin turned into a surprise escape room for my kitchen
Bought a fancy compact worm tower on a whim for $40, thinking it'd be a total game-changer. Three days later I woke up to a trail of worms crawling across my counter, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has had their composting critters stage a jailbreak?

Oh man, that's rough! I had a similar thing happen with my bin last summer and found a worm hanging out on the coffee maker the next morning.

Three worms made it to my toaster last week, and @clairer79 I feel your coffee maker pain. Thought I was being smart with a plastic bin but turns out I just built a worm motel with no checkout desk. Now I check my cereal bowl for squatters before pouring milk.
