Hit 90 days with my Bokashi bin and the smell is still zero
I started with a small bucket under my kitchen sink in my Chicago apartment, expecting some odor after a few weeks. The thing is, it's been three full months and I haven't caught a single whiff of anything bad, not even when I open it to add new scraps. I'm honestly shocked it worked this well in such a tight space. Has anyone else gone this long without any smell issues using this method?

Right? Mine's been going strong for months with no smell either.

Try a vinegar rinse, works every time.

Man, I'm right there with you. I've got my bin sitting in my laundry room and I was bracing for the worst after reading all those horror stories online. I'm at about 75 days now and honestly the only thing I smell is a faint pickly kind of scent when I open it to dump in coffee grounds. My girlfriend keeps asking if it's going to start stinking up the whole place and I keep telling her I think we're fine.
