Trying to find the right order to watch the Fate series was a bigger mess than I thought

I kept seeing people online say you should start with Fate/Zero, but others said that spoils the main story. So I spent a whole afternoon, maybe like 4 hours, reading old forum posts and watching YouTube videos trying to figure it out. Every guide had a different opinion and it felt like no one agreed. I even found a flow chart someone made that was so complex it made my head hurt. In the end, I just picked one and went with Unlimited Blade Works. It took way longer than just picking a show should, you know? Has anyone else gotten stuck in this kind of anime watch order rabbit hole? How did you finally decide?

Spend four hours on that? Honestly, it's just a TV show. I saw @white.sandra's question too, and the answer is probably just picking the one with the coolest trailer. You'll figure it out once you start watching.
