Just realized I've been watching anime wrong for years

Back in 2020, I started watching 'Attack on Titan' weekly as it came out. I got so caught up in the hype and fan theories online. Every week felt like a puzzle to solve. I was looking at every frame for clues. Last month, I rewatched the whole series in one go. It felt totally different. The story flowed better and the big moments hit harder. I wasn't distracted by guessing what came next. Now I'm thinking maybe binging is better for some shows. Does anyone else feel like weekly viewing ruins the experience for certain anime?

Just the credits rolling" hits hard. I had that feeling after a bad breakup where every day felt like a rerun. What finally worked was forcing one tiny new thing each week, like trying a different coffee shop or walking a new route home. It didn't fix everything, but it broke up the monotony. Those small changes made the days feel less like a copy of the one before.
