I thought the whole "filler episode" hate was just newer fans being picky until I sat through the Bount arc again
For years I rolled my eyes when people said Bleach's Bount arc was a slog. I remembered it fondly from watching on Adult Swim back in 2007, so I figured everyone was just spoiled by shorter shows. Then last month I tried a rewatch and tapped out around episode 15 of that arc, which is roughly 40 episodes I used to defend. The pacing is rough and it has nothing to do with the manga, so now I get why people skip it. Curious if anyone here still defends a filler arc they used to love before a rewatch changed their mind?
