I finally get the hype behind Vinland Saga season 2

A guy at the register told me to stick with it past episode 3. Said the farm arc is about growth not battles. He was right, that scene with Einar and the wheat fields hit me way harder than any fight scene. Anyone else almost drop a show on bad advice?

Did you drop Vinland season one after the first few episodes too? I almost did the same thing with the farm arc. I was sitting there like "wow this is just guys working in a field, where's the blood?" Then that moment with Einar hit me and I realized I'm a dummy who judges things too fast. Made me think of the time I almost quit One Piece after two episodes because I thought it was too silly. Now I'm 1000 episodes deep and my family thinks I have a problem.
