Can we talk about the guy at Anime Boston 2023 who told me to drop 12 shows at once?
I was standing in the dealer hall at Anime Boston in 2023, complaining to a stranger about my watchlist when he said the best thing he ever did was drop 12 shows in one weekend and never look back. I tried it the next week and knocked out 9 titles I had been dragging along for over a year, and honestly I felt lighter. Why do we treat a dropped show like a failure instead of just admitting the first 3 episodes did not earn the next 20?
