Why does every new coffee shop in ABQ use those tiny 10 oz cups now?

Grabbed a latte from that new place on Central near San Pedro and paid $6 for what felt like a shot glass, is this a trend or am I just getting old and grumpy about portion sizes?

Paid $6 for what felt like a shot glass" is EXACTLY right. It's part of that whole shrinking everything trend - same way bags of chips are mostly air now and ice cream cartons got smaller but kept the same price.

oh totally, i stopped ordering those fancy coffee drinks out. started making my own cold brew at home and it costs like nothing per glass. way better too, i can make it as strong as i want
