Update: I thought the guy selling green chile out of his truck on Coors was sketchy, and I was wrong
For about a year I drove past this old white truck parked near Coors and Montano with a hand painted sign, and I always figured it was some guy reselling grocery store chile at a markup. Back in September my neighbor brought over a container of his roasted stuff and it was better than anything I had gotten at the big stands during the balloon fiesta rush. So I stopped one Saturday and paid $14 for a bag, and it was roasted right there in the parking lot while I waited. Now I want to know if anyone else has a no name chile hookup like this, because I feel dumb for ignoring that truck for so long.
