That guy at Frontier Restaurant made me rethink my lunch routine
I always grabbed a breakfast burrito there on my way to school, but last month I saw a cook drop a tortilla on the floor and pick it back up. Now I just pack my own lunch and save about $7 a day. Has anyone else had a moment like that at a local spot?

Read some article about how most restaurants have a "five second rule" but they don't actually follow it, which freaked me out. Your story reminds me of that time I saw a guy at a diner wipe a plate with his apron and then serve it, totally killed my appetite. I started packing my own lunches too, makes it way easier to know exactly what's in my food. Plus you're right about saving money, I was spending like $50 a week on fast food before I wised up.

Oh I gotta push back on that "five second rule" thing, in my experience most kitchens I've worked in are way cleaner than people give them credit for. I actually trust the cooks at Frontier more than I trust myself packing a lunch since I'm probably not washing my hands enough before I start assembling things.
