Just realized I dropped $60 at that Balloon Fiesta park and ride deal and still walked 2 miles
So my family came in from Texas for the fiesta and we paid $60 for the premium parking pass near the north lot thinking it would save us. Turns out the line to get in backed up on I-25 for almost an hour and once we parked the walk to the field was still about 2 miles each way with two kids in tow. Next time I'm just doing the free lot and taking the shuttle, the extra cash bought us nothing but sore feet. Has anyone found a side street near there that actually works for the 6am launch, or is the shuttle really the only sane move?
