Dropped $500 at the Balloon Fiesta gift shop my first year here and half that stuff is in a closet now
Still mad about the $85 ceramic balloon lamp that's been in a box since 2019. What's the one souvenir you regret buying?

That ceramic balloon lamp was actually $85? I always heard people say it was around $120 after tax, so I guess I had the wrong number in my head. My wife and I grabbed one of those painted tiles our first year and it's been sitting in the garage since 2018. The thing is, we already had two tiles at home from a trip to Santa Fe. So it wasn't even a new kind of thing for us. Balloon Fiesta gets you though, you're standing there all excited watching them go up and suddenly everything in that shop looks like something you need. Now I just buy a pin and call it a day.
