DAE know Albuquerque has a giant mountain lion statue on top of the Sandia Mountains?
I was reading a thread about local landmarks and someone mentioned a 3,000 pound bronze mountain lion statue sitting at the top of the Sandia Peak Tramway. I looked it up and sure enough, it's been up there since the 1960s and you can see it from parts of the city. I've lived here for 7 years and never noticed it once. Has anyone else spotted it from down in the valley, or am I just not looking up enough?
