Chose the Frontier over the Rail Runner for my commute to Santa Fe, not sure I made the right call
When I moved to the North Valley a couple years back I had to pick between driving the interstate or taking the Rail Runner up to my job in Santa Fe. I went with driving since I leave at odd hours and the train schedule never lined up with my shifts. After a year of gas and wear on my car I started wondering if I should have just dealt with the train. The ride up La Bajada still gets me every time though, watching the mesas go orange in the evening. Anyone else here made that same swap and regretted it?

That drive up La Bajada really is something else, I get why you stuck with it. I made the same call and yeah, the gas money stings, but I don't think I could give up that view.
