Wired my first house with all wireless sensors and regretted it

Used to run hardwired contacts on every window and door because that's what I learned from my old boss in Cleveland. Switched to wireless for a 3-story Victorian last spring to save time and ended up spending 2 extra days fixing interference from the old radiator pipes. How do you guys deal with RF interference in older buildings without running new wires?
