Took over a 14-panel install from another guy and the difference in his wire runs after just 3 weeks still bugs me
Honestly I got called to finish this house in Mesa because the first installer bailed. Walked into the panel closet and it was a mess of slack bunched up with zip ties, no labels, and home runs crossing each other every which way. I redid the same 14 zones in an afternoon with velcro and a label maker and it looks like a totally different job. He was only on the site 3 weeks, so it's not like this was years of buildup. I think he just never got shown how to dress cable. Tbh it cost the homeowner nothing extra because I ate the time. Any of you ever take over a job and find the wiring done so bad you had to stop and just stare at it for a minute?
