That cheap wireless alarm panel I bought off Amazon is already giving me issues

Spent $120 on a no-name wireless panel and now it keeps losing connection to sensors randomly at night. Anyone else run into this with budget gear or am I just unlucky?

Different take here (and I know I'm in the minority). That price point for a wireless panel is actually pretty standard, a lot of the mid-range stuff sits right around there. The real issue is usually interference from other gadgets in your house, not the quality of the panel itself. Microwave ovens and baby monitors can mess with those frequencies big time, especially at night when things get quiet. Try moving the panel to a different spot or switching up the sensor channel if you can, that fixed my dropout problem completely. Sometimes people jump to blaming the gear when it's just a placement hiccup, you know?

Used to roll my eyes at people saying "you get what you pay for" with this stuff... but after fighting with mine for a week straight, I'm starting to get it now. That constant sensor dropout at 2 AM is infuriating. Kinda makes me wish I'd just saved up for something with a real reputation behind it.
