Switched from screw terminals to plug-in connectors and cut install time by 30%

Been doing residential alarm installs in Phoenix for 6 years and always used screw terminals on keypads and sensors. Last month I tried those little plug-in connectors from a buddy's van and my first panel took 2 hours less than usual. Has anyone else made the switch or am I late to the party lol?

My buddy in Tucson swore by those push-in connectors for years and I kept saying screw terminals were fine. Took me one time on a Vista panel to get it - the little wire stripping guides are a lifesaver in tight spots. Really cuts down on the cussing when you're working behind a desk in a closet. Thirty percent sounds about right for the time savings in my experience too.

Funny how the best tools are always the ones you swore you'd never touch, right?
