Hot take: The new firmware update for the Vista panels completely changed how I handle zone doubling...
After installing it on 15 systems over the last month, I saw the number of false alarms from wiring faults drop from about 3 a week to maybe 1 every two weeks because the new diagnostics actually pinpoint the specific resistor now.

We had a Vista 20p at my old shop that gave us random zone trouble for years. The techs just kept swapping resistors until it stopped, lol. Never did figure out which one it was.
