Heard a customer in Dallas say they'd rather have a loud siren than a silent alarm call to the cops.
They argued the noise scares off intruders instantly, while a silent alert means the cops show up after the damage is done. Where do you all stand on audible vs. silent alarms for residential jobs?

What if the noise makes them freeze up instead? Some animals just lock down when they're scared.

Honestly, how many of us are dealing with actual home invaders? It feels like we're planning for a movie plot. Most break-ins are quick grabs when no one's home. A loud alarm might just annoy your neighbors while someone's already driving off with your TV. The silent kind at least gets a car headed your way without the whole block knowing your business.
