Been running wire through attics for years... just figured out a magnetic bit holder trick

So last week I was up in a 140 degree attic in Phoenix trying to fish a 22/4 cable down a wall, and I kept dropping screws into the insulation. Got so sick of it I taped a cheap magnetic bit holder to the end of my fish stick... now I can hold screws, bits, even small staples right where I need them. Saved me like 20 minutes of crawling around for dropped hardware that one job. Anyone else got a weird field hack they swear by?

I tried using those magnetic strips to keep my measuring tape handy on the truck door, ended up sticking it to a metal fence post by accident and walked off without it. Took me an hour to find the thing.
