The day I figured out I'd been clocking my prop blades wrong for 3 years

I was at the hangar in Wichita last week when a new guy asked me why I always marked blade A first, and I couldn't give him a real answer. Turns out I'd been indexing off the wrong blade since 2021, so every dynamic balance I ran was chasing a ghost. Anybody else ever have a rookie question make you realize your whole routine was built on nothing?
