Overheard a newbie call torque wrenches 'fancy ratchets' today

Was doing a gearbox inspection at the hangar in Wichita when one of the new guys pointed at my clicker and said that. Made me laugh, but also think. That tool has done 20 years of service without a calibration failure. That apprentice is gonna learn fast or go home. Anyone else got a tool they treat better than their own truck?
