Old-school torque wrench still going strong after 20 years
Bought a Snap-On torque wrench back in 2003 when I first started turning wrenches at a shop outside Richmond. Cost me $450 back then which felt like a fortune on apprentice pay. That thing still clicks true every time I pull it out for a engine mount job or landing gear bolt. Anyone else still using tools from two decades ago or did you switch to digital?

Not bad for a tool made before digital was everywhere. I still grab my old Craftsman click-type from 2001 for suspension work and it's never let me down once. Calibrated it a few years ago just to be safe and it was spot on.

John, I totally get what you mean. There's something rock solid about those old click-type torque wrenches that just works.
