My neighborhood bakery's fix for wobbly lids is straight out of the hangar

I was grabbing a coffee at the place around the corner (you know, the one with the blue awning) and saw their pastry case. The lids were all held shut with safety wire, twisted up just like we do for aircraft panels. I'm wondering if you've seen other shops using our trade tricks for everyday stuff.

Yeah I always figured that stuff was just for the hangar, but now I notice those little fixes everywhere!

It's wild how that works, right? You start to see the same kind of makeshift fixes holding together all sorts of things, not just at work. The whole world feels like it's running on zip ties and hope sometimes. Old buildings, public roads, even some gadgets are just barely holding on with a clever patch. Makes you wonder how anything actually stays together for real.

Once you see it everywhere, it's kinda funny how much of our job is just fancy MacGyver stuff.
