Can we talk about torque seal? I used to think it was just for show
For years I skipped the torque seal on inspection panels because I figured it was cosmetic. Then last month I pulled a panel on a King Air 200 at our hangar in Peoria and found a bolt a guy had missed on the last annual, and the seal would have caught it in two seconds flat. Now I carry a little tube in my box and mark everything I touch. How many of you all mark hardware on panels you barely loosen?
