Thought I needed a bigger model for my invoices, turned out I was just feeding the AI garbage
I kept blaming the AI for pulling wrong totals off my cleaning invoices until I finally looked at what I was uploading, and half the scans were crooked photos from my phone with shadows across the numbers. Switched to a flatbed scanner and plain white backgrounds, and the same tool that got maybe 6 out of 10 right now nails all of them. Anyone else fix an AI problem by just fixing the input first?
