Saw a robot arm sorting recycling at the Denver transfer station yesterday

It was picking out plastic bags and tangled cords way faster than the two guys standing there, and the operator said it's been running 16 hour shifts for 3 months straight. Has anyone else seen these sorting bots in real life, and do they actually hold up in the chaos of a normal dump?

Yeah I've watched one of those robots work at a sorting facility near me and it's honestly wild how it never slows down. The guys who used to do that job now just babysit the machine and clear jams, and they told me the only real issue was when some idiot tossed a full propane tank in there, which ended up wrecking the gripper for a day. So yeah they hold up in the chaos as long as humans don't screw it up with stuff that shoulda been dropped off at a hazmat site anyway.
