My GPS rerouted me into a construction site at 6am yesterday

Was heading to a new client's house and my car's navigation decided to take me through a road that's been closed for months. Big orange signs everywhere, but the AI just kept saying 'proceed to the route.' Ended up backtracking 15 minutes and was late. Has anyone else noticed maps apps getting worse with road closures lately or is it just me?

Were you using Apple Maps or Google Maps? I've noticed Apple Maps has been terrible with construction detours while Google catches them faster. Just trying to figure out if this is a brand specific issue or an industry wide drop in quality.

Three times last week Apple sent me into closed roads, @john_singh, and I finally switched back to Google yesterday.
