My AI calendar bot scheduled a meeting with itself and ordered 12 pizzas for a party that never existed

Last Wednesday in Chicago, I watched my Google Calendar auto-book a meeting titled 'Pizza Party for 12' and then my smart speaker actually placed a $144 Domino's order before I could stop it, has anyone else's AI assistant gone rogue like this?

$144 is a bargain for a ghost party... hope you at least got to keep the pizza. Troy_scott's dog toys story is cute but at least Fido actually exists to enjoy them.

Damn that's rough, definitely feel your pain on this one. My Alexa ordered a bunch of dog toys once because it thought I said something about a "toy store" during a work call. Hoping you got the order canceled in time, those AI assistants really need a better way to double check before spending real money.
