Can we talk about how AI sleep trackers might mess with your head?
I've been using an AI sleep tracker for a few months to try and fix my bad sleep. It uses sensors and algorithms to guess my sleep stages and spits out a score each morning. On one side, having this data made me notice patterns, like how caffeine late in the day ruins my deep sleep. I changed my habits and felt a bit better. But on the flip side, I now wake up anxious to check my phone, and if the score is poor, my whole day starts with stress. It's like I'm working for the app instead of it helping me. Sometimes I sleep great but the tracker says I was restless, so which one do I trust? Is this innovation actually good for health or just another thing to worry about? I want to hear your take.

Yeah, that's a real thing with these trackers. I mean, it's like you're constantly graded on something you can't fully control. Like, if you wake up feeling rested but the app says you had poor sleep, you start doubting your own body. This can lead to sleep anxiety, where you're so focused on the numbers that you actually sleep worse. Maybe the tech is helpful for spotting trends, but when it becomes a daily stressor, it defeats the purpose. Idk, maybe it's just me, but relying too much on data might mess with your natural sleep cues.

Read something similar in a health blog recently.

Stop checking the app first thing. Go by how you feel, not the numbers.
